Aaron Escobar

Aaron Escobar is from Northern Virginia. He is a First Generation Salvadoran

He is a Senior at Mason majoring in Physics with a minor in Music (Percussion). He is a Student Transition Empowerment Program (STEP) 2016 Scholar and has been working with the Center for Culture, Equity, and Empowerment (CCEE) for 3 years now. Aaron is involved with organizations on campus like La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Inc. and is a radio co-host for WGMU Radio. (Listen to his show on Mondays from 6-7pm)

Aaron has a passion for anything music related and loves teaching! Outside of the office he is part of the marching band staff for the Lee High School Band in Fairfax County Public Schools. Upon graduation he plans on teaching high school physics and later wants to open his own record store!
