Crystal Davidson
Ms. Crystal Davidson joins the Center of Culture, Equity and Empowerment (CCEE) family as an Assistant Director for Student Engagement for Racial Justice. Within her role, she is responsible for advising, supporting, and advocating for the needs of Black/Pan-African students, along with all other marginalized and historically underrepresented groups at George Mason University.
Crystal was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Culture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She obtained her Master of Science in Education degree in Higher Education Student Life and Development and her Certificate in Strategic Enrollment Management from the University of Miami, where she previously served as the Graduate Assistant for the office of Multicultural Student Affairs. Crystal has experience in New Student Orientation and Diversity, Inclusion and Social Justice education. She has a passion for elevating student’s voices and empowering them to be their most authentic selves.
In her free time, she enjoys writing, cooking, and nestling up on her couch watching YouTube videos. She is an avid dog-lover and also enjoys collecting sneakers. Contact Crystal at cdavids9@gmu.edu
