Felicia Haynes

As a Graduate Professional Assistant (GPA), Felicia currently facilitates the Hispanic and LatinX Leadership Alliance (HLLA) and the Native American and Indigenous Alliance (NAIA) and coordinates events and celebrations like Bienvenida Latina and Indigenous Peoples Day. Her number one goal is to be an asset to students when possible, and when she recognizes that she is unable to, find the person that will be.

She is a 2nd year graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Development program and will graduate in Spring 2021. She’s from, both Portsmouth, Va and New Orleans, LA, equally. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting and Information Systems at Virginia Tech in 2018. After graduation, she held an Assistant Conduct Coordinator gap-year position at Virginia Tech in Student Conduct. Her career goal is to work with students in crisis within a Dean of Students office.

Gallup Strengths: Learner, Restorative, Individualization, Analytical, and Input.

She is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Felicia loves reading, jigsaw puzzles, watching movies, and running.
