Welcome back Patriots. As a department, we are most committed to centering and uplifting communities of color and historically marginalized populations. As members of these communities, we are deeply impacted by COVID-19. As we continue to deal with multiple pandemics, including racial injustice, it is paramount that we prioritize health and safety. We must protect and support one another. Each of our areas have committed to offering services and programs that support student social interactions, financial and employment planning, and mental and emotional health.
While, we are offering in-person support, our office’s programs will mostly be offered online as a protective measure for vulnerable communities. There will be less staff members in the office and we have limited the number of guests in our office suite in order to promote social distancing. We have created a virtual lounge in the office suite, for community members to use to make appointments, chat with available staff members, and utilize services such as bias incident reporting. Office Rules and Procedures
To ensure the health and safety of both visitors and staff of the CCEE office, we ask that you please follow these guidelines when visiting the space as the campus re-opens:
- Wear a mask or face covering
- Practice physical distancing
- Follow hygiene guidelines and sanitize your hands often
- Take the return to campus training to stay up to date with new policies
- Take the health assessment survey
- Inform the office if you test positive for COVID-19, have COVID-19, or are in self-isolation while awaiting test results
Please be aware that during this time, we will be limiting the capacity of those allowed into the office to help prevent possible transmission. Student Organizations will not be allowed to use the conference room and will be advised to meet virtually. If you aren’t able to come into the office, we will be offering virtual meetings with our staff so that you can continue to stay in touch with us
